"Croad Vineyards" wines are primarily produced from estate grapes surrounding the winery. The vineyards are planted on south facing hills which maximize sunlight exposure and minimize the chances of vines being damaged by early and late season frosts. Planted in this special micro climate, rooted into calcerious soils and nestled in the center of the "Templeton Gap" area, brings unique fruit characterisics to the wine. The vineyards consist of Zinfandel, Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Petite Sirah vines. Our wine reflects these vineyard qualities which focus on Zinfandel and Rhone blends.
